Initiation Fee $225 (Currently waived for foreseeable future)

Paul Harris Fellowship $50/quarter

(i.e.: contribution to the work of Rotary International) for the first 1.5 years.

As you can see from our structure, paying the cost of meals and our two banquets are the majority of the expenses taken from our dues.   We have found that having our members pay in advance for those expenses is the preferred method.   Meals and banquets cost us about $850 per year.  The little bit left over covers local, district, national and international administrative costs.  Some clubs bill an additional $500 per year to be used to fund projects both local and international.  Instead we have an annual fundraising project that we expect all members to participate in.  The success of the fund-raising project depends on the active participation of all members.

You will remember that we are a 100% Paul Harris Fellow Club and that this is an honor we take pride in.  Our tradition has been to match a member’s ongoing contribution to Rotary International through the Paul Harris Fellowship program.   New members are honored with a Fellowship in their second year with us.   A tax deductible fifty dollars ($50) per quarter is added to all new members quarterly statements for the first one and a half years of membership in order to reimburse Guilford Rotary for 50% of the cost of that Fellowship.   Many of our members have multiple Paul Harris Fellowships (PHFs).   We all believe in the object of Rotary and support it with part of our personal charitable giving.   By joining us, you join in this objective of Service Above Self.
