Guilford Rotary Club Structure

  • The Board of Directors conducts the general business of our Club.  The Board of Directors consists of a President, President-Elect, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Rotary Foundation Chairperson and four Directors of Service.
  • Our President Elect, with the approval of our Board of Directors, makes appointments for the following year based upon the Four Avenues of Rotary:
  1. Club Service
  2. Community Service
  3. Vocational Service
  4. International Service
  • The office of Vice President ascends to that of President Elect and then to President. Directors of Services generally agree to a two year term on the board.
  • In order to be presented to the club as a new member you are required to either attend a board meeting or join a working committee. The president can best advise on this.  We request that new members sit with a different group at each meeting until they have had a chance to meet everyone.
